Changes for 2009-10 School Year

Tablet PC’s must be kept in the protective sleeves at all time. The original assigned backpacks are no longer required. Students can use any backpack they want, but the tablets do not need to be carried in a backpack, only the sleeve. The original supplied backpacks will no longer be replaced for free since it is not required, if the backpack is broken and you would like it replaced there will be a $10 shipping fee charged for warranty coverage. Some of the replacement backpacks from last year are a different model, as provided by the warranty company. The protective sleeve must be used at all times, even if the backpack being used has a place for a laptop.

Any damages incurred to a loaner computer will be charged to the student. The warranty is different on these machines and cannot be charged against their warranty. A loaner computer must be returned in the same condition it was assigned in.

There will no longer be fines for computer violations, instead demerits will be issued. Please refer to your handbook for those infractions.
