Cathedral Preparatory School has graciously been given a Mediasite Live! Server by Sonic Foundry® Inc. (NASDAQ: SOFO), a leading digital media software solutions company. Mediasite Live! will allow Prep to offer on-line training courses for its faculty and staff, as well as allow administration to record and make presentations on-line either "real time" or on demand. Imagine having an alumni meeting take place in Erie, and being able to attend it from your desk in say, San Francisco. Through the use of this equipment from Sonicfoundry, we wil be able to give our students, faculty, alumni, etc., the oportunity to watch previously recorded classes, watch computer training seminars, and even view sports games, right from the comfort of their own home computer. Live presentations will also be made available at certian times throughout the year, focusing on alumni relations, school development status, technology development, and admissions.
