8th Grade Honors Program

Advanced eighth grade students have the opportunity to participate in Villa Maria Academy and Cathedral Preparatory School’s Eighth Grade Honors Program. Advanced/honors students attending Erie County elementary and middle schools are able to take a variety of courses at Villa Maria Academy and Cathedral Preparatory School before enrolling in high school. Successful completion will count towards their high school credits.

Algebra I Honors, Integrated Science Honors, and AP Human Geography

Each Spring, all 7th grade families of Catholic school students are invited to attend an informational meeting regarding the 8th Grade Honors Program. Afterwards, families are able to apply to be part of the program.
