THE 50TH REUNION OF THE CATHEDRAL PREP CLASS OF ‘61
THIS IS THE BIG ONE….JOIN US FOR A GREAT WEEKEND OF MEMORIES
Friday, June 3
Who: Classmates only
Where: The new Cathedral Prep Events Center at 12th & Cherry Sts.
What: Stag get-together. School will also be open for tours and memories; summer informal attire
Time: 6:00PM till 10:00PM
How: Use West entrance. Limited parking at site; park on 10th or 11thsts.
Price: $20.00 Food and beverages will be provided
Saturday, June 4
Who: Classmates only
Where: Downing Golf Course on Troupe Road in Harborcreek
What: Class of ’61 golf outing
Time: Tee times are from 10:00AM till 11:15AM
How: Foursomes and tee times will be announced at Friday’s stag
Price: Self-pay at the clubhouse on that day. Do not send any money for this event
Saturday, June 4
Who: Classmates and spouse, date, significant other
Where: Erie Maennerchor Club, 1607 State St., 2nd floor ballroom
What: Great buffet dinner and dance with DJ playing 50’s, 60’s and 70’s music
Time: Cocktails at 6:00PM, dinner starting at 7:00PM (cash bar)
How: Park in back lot near French St. and use back entrance
Price: $45.00 per person; business casual attire
Sunday, June 5
Who: Classmates and spouse, date, significant other as Prep honors the 50-year class.
Where: Cathedral Prep Conference Room, first floor across from trophy cases
What: Mass for deceased classmates; brunch in Prep cafeteria; commencement at Warner Theater (Class of ’61 will be in procession behind the Class of 2011)
Time: Mass at 11:00AM; brunch at 11:45; school tours; graduation at 2:00PM
How: Park in the lot next to Prep off 9th St.; door closest to lot will be open; formal attire; jacket and tie required for commencement
Price: There is no charge for any of these events. Let’s be supportive!
