Summer Camps 2010

Cathedral Prep offers a great summer of camps in a variety of sports. Below are the 2010 dates as some of the camps will be capped due to the overwhelming turnouts. If you have any questions please call 453-PREP ext. 2277.

2010 Cathedral Prep Summer Camp Information

Baseball
Dates June 21st-23rd. Camp is for ages 8-12. 9:00am-12:00pm at Brabender Field. Ages 13-17, 1:00pm-4:00pm at Brabender Field. Rain location is Braendel Facility. Cost is $80.00 and includes a camp T-shirt. There will also be a winter camp on February 27th for ages 8-15 at Braendel Facility from 9am-3pm. Cost is $60.00. Questions, call Dave Hess at 899-4281. Basketball

June 14th-June 18th for kids going into grades five thru nine. 9:00am-4:00pm at Cathedral Prep. Gym opens every day at 8:00am. Cost is $115.00 ($140.00 if registered after April 15th) and includes a camp
T-shirt, prizes and a hot lunch in the Prep cafeteria every day. Each additonal child from the same family is $70.00. Limited to the first 140 campers. Questions, call 835-3803. Checks can be made payable to: Prep Basketball, 225 West 9th Street, Erie, PA 16501

Football July 19th-22nd at the New Cathedral Prep Athletic Center on 12th & Cherry Streets from 9:00am-3:00pm. Field opens at 8am each morning. Camp available for students heading into grades 2 thru 9. Please bring cleats and a mouthpiece (optional). Cost is $120.00 ($100.00 if paid by July 1st) and includes a camp T-shirt and a ticket to the Save-An-Eye All-Star Game. Questions, call 453-7737 ext. 2290. Lacrosse
Are you looking for something fun to try in the summer? Try lacrosse at the Rambler Summer Youth Lacrosse
Program. Sign ups Saturday June 5th, Noon-4 pm outside the Prep athletic office on 10th Street.

Eight weeks of fun for Grades 5-8 (grade just completed)
Where: McDonald Field (Virginia Ave entrance)
Time: 6:30pm-8:15pm each session
Beginning June 15th through August 10th
Practices will be Tuesdays and Thursdays. Note: Games may also be held on Wednesdays at alternate locations.

Skill Clinics
June: 15, 17, 22, 24, 29 July 1
July: 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29
August: 3, 5
Games begin July 8th and may include games with the summer youth programs at Family First and Millcreek.
Cost is $110 which includes a reversible jersey.
A limited amount of equipment is available to rent (Additional $40) Hockey equipment may be used and equipment packages are available.

Bring a friend and receive a $20 discount (or rebate) for each additional player you recruit. Checks are made payable to “Jeff Lord”. The program will be coordinated by Cathedral Prep Lacrosse Coach Jeff Lord and will include participation current and past Cathedral Prep student lacrosse players. All players must have a current

Soccer
July 12th-16th at Cathedral Prep Soccer Complex at Gate of Heaven Fields (Millfair Road and West Lake Road).

YOUTH CAMP: BOYS AND GIRLS AGES 7-13
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (NOON FRIDAY) $130.00

ELITE CAMP: BOYS AND GIRLS AGES 14-18
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (NOON FRIDAY) $165.00

Members family discount: additional family member receives a $10.00 discount.
*All players will receive a camp t-shirt and ball.
*All coaches are current or past college players.
*Team and individual prizes are given out.
*Elite campers will work with at least four college coaches during the week.
